Carey, Mariah	Emancipation of Mimi, The (Ultra Platinum Edition)
Why the hell were you listening to Mariah Carey?
Good question. The entire year, I have been torn between listening to it and not. Every time I was about to listen to it, people would say the album is garbage. But then I’d start hearing good things about it so I’d lean toward listening to it. This lasted since it’s release, which I think was early 2005.
Finally, with the news it sold the most units in 2005, I figured I should listen to it. As my review reveals, it’s terrible. There are two decent tracks on it, with the rest being ripoffs of past pop hits (e.g., similar sound, structure, production, etc.).
At least I can rest easy now…
